BRAKING NEWS ... Oil On Beach A Big Cover Up... literally... in the covet or night i was informed by a source that BP had truck loads of sand brought in, and covered up all the oil that was remaining on the beach. how many months a go i'm not sure.. when i went to geo get gas yesterday for the little generator i also asked the girl at the little station, as she was a local here and she confirmed the story and added that BP had also hired locals to help clean up the beach of dead animals and sea life which they bagged up and turned in to a truck or trucks and in the middle of the night they discarded the carcasses in black garbage bags at the local dump!!!! evidently a big controversy here.. So I'd say don't eat anything that comes out of the gulf of mexico for years to come.. who knows what else these lying fucks are doing or not doing!!! and out fab government has no issue with saying it's ok or just looking the other way.. I just want to say how sorry i m for the people of this area.. i understand that some workers were paid by BP sums of money, but not all if that a small percentage and the rest are just berely hanging in there...
it was a poor turn out, of qualified buyers yesterday, were the bodies there yes but no one was spending .. i finally did something i never ever do.. i stood out in the isle at a dare from madeline and passed out my cards saying up your ear, earrings check them out ... after spending 50 cards i returned from my wasted effort!! to the booth laughing my ass off.. i was informed that i was not permitted to do that.. i looked at them and said for a 1000$ space and my cheery disposition why not.. the customers were at least having a laugh, but i did notice a lot of glum faces and as i did, would comment no smiling here, and then would get a grin..
Things a tough all around but this has permeated the americans of the gulf shores and surrounding areas, this is just awful.. The customers were nothing more than passer bys.. which is not how it has been in the past.. sales tax incidentally is 10% can u frigging believe that.. and who can afford to buy anything with a tax like that.. heck BP should be picking up that tab.. whats wrong with this picture, here alabama bend over!!!!
as always i ask customers "so where are u from?" the furthest i got was from Birmingham, like an hour or so away.. this is not tourisum this is still , in my opinion, all i have ... local... I have never sen such atitude also from merchants the show promotors of negativity There this under lying anger as though anyone and everyone is responsible for this shit that has gone on down here. just miserable.. If i were them i'd be kissing ass and thanking anyone and everyone for coming to support the show the venders artisans, and the people who've come if not far but come.. and certainly not with a 10% tax..all the rigamorow i went through to get my permit to sell and that city hall crap.. there have to be at least 100 booth that cost $1000. do the math, food venders which are selling shrimp, or at least have it for sale, pay as much as $3500 for a 10 X 10 and most have double spaces so can u imagine how much food they must sell to pay for this endeavor.. Holy crap.. and they don't even have a line in front of their booths so they will also lose the perisables..
and oh god i'm tired!! such a long hot day again a head for the crew and i.. on the bright side Andres helped at clydes booth selling rings and was truly adorable, and of course all the girls just loved him and it was such a great exoerience, his tiny self standing there telling them where the sizes were and helping them to decide which one.. he had so much fun he didnt want to come back to the MH at the end of the night.. madeline and i had a few rushes and made sure to close any chance we go as they r not stopping just crusing by like we are all not there.. so strange heck the charity next to e selling soda for a buck was struggling!!!
ok well let me put my best foot forward and make a day of this debockle.. maybe gleam some new piece of this big cover up down here. just so u know i did step out to touch the sea and be it what it is the ocen here is clear and beautiful though i'd have to wonder if it is safe i don't care if prez and kid swam in it or not.. bet he was in it just long enough to take the shot!!
the sand is like powdered sugar, so white and soft under ones feet, cool, under the touch of my toes, surprisingly under the hot sun.. but no one is on the beach, says something wouldn't u say...
Time to start camping on our lawn, the white house lawn, which in case we've all forgotten ,,,BELONGS TO US THE PEOPLE.. I'm so dam mad about the whole thing.. not becuz i'm not making money but just how they all think we don't get it.. thinking just becuz the education u've been handing out no child left behind .. how about an entire nation left behind.. for years .. just after the vietnam war the gov probably had a meeting on how to control the freedom of it's people and they came up with a plan if u can get them to buy into this story about the american dream being buy a house, both man and wife .. work need 2 cars , and pay out the nose for loans who will have time to march on washington .. no one.. and so it's been.. and when the last event the million man march was,... did they do it again...heck no.. so peolpe they've got us by the balls.. or do they as 10-14% are unemployed there's a fair percentage that could be sleeping on that white house lawn..
ah well again i say to work i go.. think i could get paid to do this.. id love that, just srite take photos, drive.. do art.. of any and all kinds.. oh please.. look forward to going home and reforming myself.. hahahaha sure!!
love always andrea and crew bless their hearts, they have been very good really this week and weekend so far, count our blessings..amen
