well at last me and my blog... so much to try and catch up with i hardly know where to begin..drove a long day up from virginia beach, with the crew and Cassie with whom i met up with in virginia bch.. she had just flown into there to visit with her sister, and on her way to L.A Truly can u imagine.. this seems to be the most extraordinary journey, so after my most disappointing show of the trip, the one where the pot of gold is, no rainbow.. need i say more...

in fact it was so hot, i refrain, from swearing.. what control!!!! i thought the aqua blue dress, to the floor, of cotton, was a 30 gallon garbage bag, with no chance for a breeze to even wonder up my skirt, i broke down and picked up 3 little cotton lose fitting dresses from Clyde, guilty i spent a penny... we were in for a long hot few days.. friday just sucked, oh.. could bearly think, and anyone who would dry clean their cloths wouldn't be out there in that heat, only the laundering crowd, and i'm of that persuasion, right now, i couldn't buy my earrings either.. shit.... the dwindling middle class. From what i understand the arts section might have faired a little better, so i'll just try that route next time.. or maybe not..

on to saturday, HOT ... HOT thank god i got the dresses! Cassie worked for Ed for the weekend, knew that would be fun, she stepped into his booth an acted her way through the whole weekend. what a riot..

i had a lot of great banter with the customers saturday.. especially over the no cursing signs which shamefully i did not even get a photo of.. what's wrong with me.. just imagine a sign that's in a circle and in the circle is #4%66^^%$*$@ if u get my drift.. hysterical.. more laughs were had over saying shit fuck god dam it. than can be told!! i think under the times those that are really good resort to the only harmless thing we can do, which is to swear.. better than knocking someone off just because ur frustrated about the currant economical time.. great time to refocus, find another way..

as for sunday.. it started out cold, and ended raining and that was that, now for monday.. Cassie arrived in the rainy morning to drive with the crew and i to maryland where i was booked for a fun festival in Fells Point.. aren't they all fun.. Maryland where i was to also meet up with another friend, on tuesday..eve.. Joe who we'd (the crew and I) rendezvoused with in rhode island a few weeks back... whom i'd met in Sweetwater campground, over the summer, just the day of my last show, in Hyannis, in fact that sunday night he'd dropped by the campsite with a beer in hand and a smile...i'm thinking his car has never seen so many miles.. as i was not long for Sweetwater and the cape by that time.. and now this..

tuesday we had many a chore laundry, groceries, and i needed desperately to get my nails done way over due, by a month..

and that was a fiasco.. i stopped into a nail salon near the laundry mat and ended up with a pedicure instead of a and fill..in fact in the unairconditioned sweat box of a salon they got half way through and couldn't finish the nails as i wanted something way out of their league, so i helped wrap up the laundry deal and drop off crew and Cassie and run to yet another nail salon whilst Joe was driving 10 hours to maryland to see us.. and i would now not be there, at the camp he'd made reservations at for the crew and i.. on time... You might say i was fashionably late!!!!

Ah a beer in the night sky, under a canopy of trees, perfectly set near to the facilities, large enough for his tent, something i'm getting used to seeing out side my coach window now, as this would be the 3rd time.. in some weeks to see this him very
diligently put it up in yet the dark night again!! and that eve over conversation he presented me with a.. beautifully wrapped gift, the paper a map, tied up with back shinny ribbon, and bow.. oh oh.. who cares whats in the box as long as it's wrapped up.. under that flawlessly wrapped package was a GPS.. just what a girl really needs on the road, only days ago i'd said i might have to break down and buy..

as Cassie was here we could actually make plans to do something, one on one.. and so Joe made reservations!!! for a hotel and a restaurant, oh my dinner and drinks.. over looking a the harbor in annapolis, cloth on the tables.. when we arrived to the hotel i had a chance to take care of some needed business as my credit card terminal had failed the weekend before, and i needed a phone line to down load all my transactions from the weekend, and the entire conversation with technical support was just a riot. he intently watched and listened to me as i worked out all their problems " no it's not that way it's my way!" and i did get my way.. nearly an hour later.. we showered, oh in a real shower, the first i'd been in, in so many months..

i wore a dress i'd picked up in the cape a month back that's i'd worn to Hyannis art show, which would remind u of something Audry Hepburn might have worn if it were these times, dark gray, squared off neck line, perfect size 2 .. they had certainly made a mistake on that.. all my jewelry.. including earrings.. Up Your Ear.. and off to dine.. Joe in a very nice gray jacket, nice shirt and pants.. something we hadn't seen each other in, as we have only been at campgrounds, who knew we could dress!!!

Thursday morning we awoke to the pouring rain, in Annapolis.. some dreadful coffee, and slowly got our selves ready for the tour of the town.. rain or shine as the show must go on.. this rain was the remnants of Nicole.. so it wasn't too cold.. as we know that is an issue for me.. cold that is.. rain.. well i wont melt, and evidently Joe doesn't melt in the rain either, we walked and talked and stopped into stores, after a nice breakfast. later went on to Fells Point, to see what that was all about, a beer, and back to camp.. to find all had survived the rainy day and night..

and it would con't to rain.. dear god he had to sleep out in a tent in the rain.. it was just awful.. and cold.. we sat that night under the awning of the coach, Cassie, he and i , with a beer, watching the rain, pour down around us.. great conversation, and Cassie was so funny we all had a great time.. whatever the weather..

friday we ran errands, if i recall, Cassie, Joe and the crew threw in my wet booth set up in the wash while i got a quick trim at a near by solon, as i was also in desperate need of that.. and sat up early Joe and i drove down to the show.. and set up.. he returned with my van to camp.. Cassie got some alone time while Joe took the crew on a hike, over the paths in the park, and evidently one scary swinging bridge.. we all had yet another great time and as it turned out the show proved to be good on saturday.. now if it would only hold true for sunday..

Sunday Cassie and i went to the show, quite early again and she was to meet up with a life long friend, and i to work.. sadly it was cold and bitter and evidently the Ravens have a huge following, so much so that no one showed up to the show and it was just the worst day ever followed by Rain, cold bitter rain, and i packed up all my booth wet again!!!!

Joe and crew went to Washington, the museum of natural history, where he stayed the day long with the crew, having taken the metro which in it self was a thrill from what i gathered from the crew!! oh they had such a good time.. Cassie and i arrived back late, to burgers, baked potatoes, and a fully fed crew.. a dream come true for me.. another rainy night and a beautiful man, to sleep yet again in a wet cold tent.. now if that's not sportsmanship, what is.. and cheery as can be!!

Cassie was to be here for the duration of the trip but as is life things can change and she felt a quick arrival to L.A would be better so on monday she was off to BWI and the crew and i are on our way to Alabama, and Joe to the cape... and more sweet so longs and till we meet again..dam this good bye stuff is never ending, as are the hellos... but so less sweet..i've learned to just hold my breath.. try not to cry.. and get a move on.. down the road.. with my new GPS and the love of friends.. where ever it is i and crew go..

now up this morn in the flying j parking lot.. as evidently there are no campgrounds along this corridor.. and a late drive getting here too. as Joe drove his 10 hrs plus back to Cape Cod and dropped Cassie off at the motel near the air port for her departure to L.A today..

lastly i want to mention.. as always there is something that comes up, nearly out of diesel i prayed for a station, my legs shaking in the dark of the night as i do not like the dark, much less drive in it.. as we pulled into the mobil, station there was an open trailer with a huge larger than life statue of a mosaic mirrored horse.. so tremendous i had to grab the camera, and take pix as i filled my bone dry tank with fuel.. moments later to speak to the driver about his unusual cargo.. as it turned out they are from mexico and on there way to New York for a circus.. Circus Vazquez.. which i must look up.. and Chris, the very polite man told us of his destiny.. all excited to know i would be writing this into my blog today.. can not wait to down load the pix for u all to see.... ah so all this and many reasons are why i am glad to wake up every morning, an adventure a round every corner should u choose to see it that way.. and i do so wonder what is to come today.. as i drive the hell out of the day, the crew and i and now Betty, the gps...

with all my love to my readers, my friends .. have as marvelous day, as we..

andrea and crew
